Terms of Use

mosfoto offers two online tools for applications in the Polish MOS 2.0 system (karta pobytu, CUKR) and similar procedures. The photo tool frames a photo, replaces the background with an even white one and checks it against the MOS requirements. The passport PDF tool combines photos or scans of your passport pages into a single PDF under the portal's size limit, with a file name the portal accepts, and runs an automated check of which page each scan shows and whether the set is complete and in order. In both tools downloading the finished file is paid.

The Service is provided "as is", without any express or implied warranties. It is a private initiative and is not affiliated with the MOS portal, the Office for Foreigners (Urząd do Spraw Cudzoziemców), voivodeship offices or any other state body of the Republic of Poland.

In the photo tool you can upload a photo and see a watermarked preview of the result before paying. In the passport tool you can add, crop, reorder and check all pages before paying; the payment unlocks the download of the finished PDF. The Service is intended for personal use. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Service in whole or in part without prior notice.

Paid download. Downloading the finished full-resolution photo without the watermark, or the finished passport PDF, is a one-time paid service. The price is shown in the tool and in the payment window before you confirm the payment; it is final and includes all applicable taxes. No account is required.

Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (card, BLIK, Apple Pay, Google Pay). You enter your payment details directly in Stripe's form; we do not receive or store them. A photo payment covers up to 10 photos prepared on the same device within 7 days, including downloading the same photo again. A passport payment covers one passport: its PDF can be downloaded as many times as you like for 24 hours after payment, after which the files are deleted (section 3). Once paid, the pages of that passport are locked; to change them, start a new passport, which is a separate purchase. Photo and passport payments are separate products: one does not cover the other.

Delivery and right of withdrawal. The photo and the PDF are digital content delivered immediately after payment. By paying, you expressly request delivery before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledge that, once the file has been delivered, you lose the statutory right of withdrawal (art. 38 pkt 13 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).

Refunds. We refund the payment in full if the file did not download after payment (including when the PDF could not be made small enough for the portal). Write to hi.oleksiv@gmail.com within 30 days of the payment, with the payment date. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days. A receipt or invoice can be requested at the same address.

Everything you upload is deleted automatically: in the photo tool 24 hours after the upload, in the passport tool 24 hours after the session starts or, if you pay, 24 hours after payment. You can delete the files earlier with the Delete button. After deletion the session cannot be opened again and we cannot restore the files, so download the finished file and keep your own copy.

The link to your session is the only key to it. Anyone who has the link can open the session, including the pages of your passport, until the files are deleted. Keep it private and do not send it to anyone you would not show the documents to.

You are responsible for having all necessary rights to the images and documents you process. Do not use the Service for images you do not own or that infringe third-party rights. Process only your own passport, or a passport you are handling with the knowledge and consent of its holder (for example a family member or a client who asked you to prepare their application).

You are responsible for the final verification that the file meets the requirements of the authority you submit it to. The Service automates only the technical preparation (cropping, dimensions, format, file size and, in the photo tool, replacing the background). The automated checks are hints: in the photo tool they do not replace your own look at the facial expression, lighting, quality and the outline of the head, which an automatic cut-out can clip; in the passport tool they only identify which page a scan shows and whether the set looks complete and in order, and do not verify that every page is legible, in focus, unobstructed and whole. Before submitting, open the finished file and check every page yourself. The Service does not guarantee acceptance at any specific office.

Requirements for photos and attachments are set by state bodies and may change. The Service reflects them as of the date of the last update of these terms and does not track changes in real time. Before submitting, check the file against the current requirements on the authority's official website.

The Service is not legal advice. Material on this site, including explanations of the requirements and references to Polish legislation, is provided for information only and does not replace advice from a lawyer or an official ruling. Decisions on your application are made solely by the relevant authority.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mosfoto is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service, including: refusal of an authority to accept the photo or the attachment; a call to supplement documents (wezwanie do uzupełnienia braków) because of a missing, illegible or misplaced page, or a longer processing time; refusal of a karta pobytu, CUKR or any other document; the cost of re-photographing, re-scanning or re-submitting the application; loss of a file that was deleted after its hour.

You use the Service at your own risk and verify the result yourself before submitting. By downloading a file you confirm that you have read these terms. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law, in particular for damage caused intentionally.

For the paid options, our total liability towards you is limited to the amount you paid for the file in question, without prejudice to the refund rules in section 2.

Prohibited: processing forged, altered or stolen documents; uploading another person's documents without their authorization; reverse engineering attempts; automated or bulk use of the Service; use of the Service for unlawful content; any action that disrupts the Service for other users.

In case of abuse we reserve the right to restrict access without notice.

All rights to the Service's design, code, content and branding belong to the operator. Images and documents you upload and process remain your property — we acquire no rights over them.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the jurisdiction of the Polish common courts.

We may update these terms. The current version is always available at this URL. By continuing to use the Service after an update, you accept the new version.
